A good shave to start things off for the day. DRH seems to be generally not well regarded. This is an old puck that has always worked damn good for me. My minimalist son used a puck as his one and only for a year of nearly daily shaves. I can think of worse soaps to use.

I bought two of these balms when they were first introduced. I killed one and am just starting on this one. This is the original formula that has since been updated. I didn't care for this stuff at first. I figured out I was using too much and it works best if my face is damp when applying the balm.

This brush is pretty much broken in. I've recorded 35 shaves with it, but I think there were a few shaves I forgot to record. I haven't used any other brush since I bought it at the Maggard Meet. The best way I can describe it is to maybe say it's kind of a cross between a 610 and an SOC. That may not be accurate, but that is what comes to mind. I'm pleased with it.

This cream isn't seen much generally speaking and I forget I have it TBH. I've had it for quite a while. It's so easy to overload. It does not take much product to make a shit ton of quality lather. It holds a surprising amount of water. I suppose I'm the anomaly because I really like it.

Another cream today. I bought this jar when creams were first brought to market by the artisan. I was looking for a cream to use in the wake of the discontinuation of L'Occitane Cade Rich in a tub. It's a pretty good cream. I don't use it much because I prefer soaps, but it's a good product. I chose the brand after I spoke to a tester who also happens to be a vendor that sees a lot of products. Their opinion was good enough for me.

I've gotten accustomed to this short little hair shaper. It's taken a while, but frequent use has given me the muscle memory with the short tang.

Finishing out the week with a good shave. Oddly, this is the only Omnibus base soap I have. I have owned more Reserve and Glissant and White/Black Label over the years. I think I'm at the point where I get a good shave with pretty much any base. I started out using WMS and I still think that starting at zero and learning with that soap served me very well especially with my extremely hard water.
